Minimum qualifications, education and experience:Minimum 5 years? experience in eCommerce related to direct sales
Experience in Tourism in online environtment required
Demonstrable experiencie in Online Marketing required
English and Spanish proficiency needed
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Economics, Tourism, Marketing or equivalent
Main KPIs Achievement of online revenue target and strategic goals of the assigned hotels for web direct
Performance result of campaign forecasts.

¿Qué funciones realizarás?
Position purpose:As Market Specialist you will be responsible to identify insights/ opportunities understanding main and each feeder markets and consumers behaviours (behaviors, seasonality, holidays and school vacations, industry events such as outlets, Black Friday, etc. established and emerging audience segments, payment methods, financing, market trends by customer segment, etc.) in order to develop his/ her market responsibilities, and manage the initiatives related to sales and campaigns for all the channels and Point of Sales (Barcelo.com and webs, Contact Centres, Dynamic Package and OTAs and among others channels) in coordination with the Product Department.Your focus will also comprise on supporting hotel businesses ability to operate day to day through executing globally aligned technologies to meet sales objective. Additionally, propose also new digital platforms to attend new opportunities for each market or needs from consumer segmentation or niches.Also, this role demands that the individual in its occupation has a highly analytical skills who is able to work quite effectively in a matrix environment. This role will report to the Head of Digital Sales EMEA.Organization relationships:Campaign Manager, Product, Digital Marketing, CRM, Business Operations, Corporate Marketing, Guest Experience Department, Revenue Management, as main interactions.
Role also deals with many other external partners; i.e. Planification Agencies, insights agencies, potential commercial deals companies and all other suppliers related to business development.
Develop sales strategies within his/ her market responsibilities in order to expand sales to all potential destinations worldwide (Direct Channels)
Create the briefings of the tactical actions, previously aligned with product department and comunicar al campaign manager Los briefing se les da al CM, quien deberia ser su unico interlocutor
Curate the market and adapt the offer/ product to the consumer needs to their market responsibilities; e.g payment methods, specific seasonality campaigns, bank holidays, etc.
Create insights for opportunities and alerts to the different situation in order to help the team to achieve or maximize the efficiency within his/ her market
Leads the Development and activation of new sources of income (Gift Card, Dynamic Packing, Affiliates, etc.)
Innovate and propose new tools to links ecommerce with consumers needs or behaviours.
Research local markets new tendencies or opportunities. Voice of the market.
Create strong relationships with product managers, corporate marketing, Loyalty, CRM, Digital Marketing activation through constant communication on business sales, technical roadmaps, and evolution of market/ strategies
