Position Overview:
In this role you will be responsible for the execution of Payroll services, policies and programs in support of the Iberia teams at Ralph Lauren. Due to the high visibility and partnership to both corporate and retail employees, it is critical that this individual is a trusted business partner to both the functional Business Partners and the People & Development community. This role reports into the Payroll Manager Spain.
Your responsibilities as Payroll Associate:
· Ensure a correct processing of the monthly Payroll with the provider Cloudpay
· Perform required input in the payroll system (Workday)
· Manage full and timely check of monthly payroll
· Make all necessary arrangements for the accurate and timely payment of monthly salaries and advise on employee benefits issues.
· Submit control register gross/net salaries, gross allowances, payroll tax
· Monitor and maintain the integrity of our payroll data on the Payroll & HR system
· Process of forms/payment orders regarding payroll tax, social security premium.
· Salary & allowance Calculations
· Support in the preparation of various HR and payroll reports
· Administer and coordinate employee benefits and process interactions with the Netherlands authorities, e.g., UWV, RVO, CBS, Tax office.
· Accurate, timely processing of employee data within defined processes/ databases; and management/ maintenance of employee records.
· Respond to employee queries, and act as point of contact for employee queries re holiday, payroll etc.
· Provide administrative support as required for HR projects or initiatives.
· Identify and execute payroll process improvements on an ongoing basis
The Successful Applicant:
· Payroll & HR System experience is a big plus
· Strong Excel skills (MS Outlook, Word and PDF good skills also appreciated)
· Knowledge of Spain tax, social and labor laws and regulations (Portugal knowledge will be also appreciated)
· You have excellent communication in Spanish and English language
· You are flexible and adaptable in approach to work with the ability to multi-task
· You have excellent attention to detail and are highly organised with the ability to prioritize and deal with deadlines
· you are a good communicator and personable
· You have a process improvement mindset and are a teamplayer
· A passionate person about people.
· Well-developed written and verbal presentation skills.
· Strong organizational skills.
· English is a must
